Offering teledermatology and in office visits

We are thrilled to be able to offer our patients teledermatology appointments during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We are also slowly opening the office for in person appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays with extreme safety measures to protect our patients and our staff (see details below).

Teledermatology appointments are conducted via live video, which can be done from most smart phones or computers with webcam capabilities.  We are currently using FaceTime, Duo, Doximity, or to meet our patients’ needs. Please contact the office to make an appointment 972-608-0330 x2112

  • Will this visit count towards my deductible? Yes.

  • Do I need to pay a copay? Yes, just the same as an office visit.

  • How do I pay my copay? Your copay or deductible will be collected at the beginning of your visit by you providing us with your credit card number.

Our team here is committed to doing our part to minimize the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The safety of our patients and staff is of the utmost importance.

Please be assured, we are:

  • Have implemented additional layers of infection control for the protection of our patients and staff.

  • Screening all patients for symptoms of COVID-19. Taking staff and patient temperatures.

  • Following all governmental, American Academy of Dermatology, and CDC recommendations regarding the safety of our patients

Some of the changes you will see:

  • We have implemented virtual visits for the evaluation of non-urgent dermatologic complaints for both new and established patients.

  • We are slowly opening the office for in person appointments, keeping your safety in mind.

  • When you arrive at our office you will contact the front desk to alert them that you have arrived 972-608-0330 x2112. We are allowing one patient to walk through the waiting room at a time. If you cannot be brought back to the examination room right away, we will ask that you stay in your car until we can bring you back.

  • All patients must wear a mask that they have brought from home.

  • Our staff will be wearing masks, gloves, eye protection, etc at all times.

  • If you are having symptoms of a fever, cough, shortness of breath, travel, or feeling ill, we ask you to call our office to postpone your appointment.

  • Please do not bring additional people with you to your visit. There is no higher priority than the safety of our patients and our staff.

We encourage everyone in our community to take steps to minimize the spread of the virus by flattening the curve. Emerging information regarding this virus is updated regularly by the CDC.
